Putnam County Federal Credit Union was founded in July 1969 to provide quality and affordable consumer financial services to the citizens of Putnam County Florida. Many persons were simply not able to avail themselves to what was offered by commercial financial providers at that time. Consequently, a dedicated group of private citizens formed what was then an organization that was a dramatic alternative to banks….a financial cooperative!

This "people helping people" enterprise has been proudly offering quality financial services to its members for almost 40 years now. Many things have changed; pen and ink notations have evolved to computers; manual check cashing have become electronic deposits; cash transactions have become debit cards. But we're still all about serving individuals…like you!
